Customer Reviews:

  1. I’m very happy with my purchase. I made a mistake ordering a part from the manufacturer, and they responded to my search for a pinless blade adapter. I am extremely satisfied with the product because it fulfills all of my needs as a scroll saw hobbyist using pinned and pinned blades. Lamps are not the greatest because the flexible arm is not solid, but I’ve taken care of it with an attached light. It’s simple to use and appears to be very reliable. I’ve been using it for about a month now without any issues.
  2. I don’t see myself utilizing this much. It appeared to be a useful instrument for cutting a replacement panel on our boat (no longer available). It was ideal for the purpose. I simply unpackaged it and used it as-is. Rather than hanging it, I placed it on a table at eye level. I couldn’t keep the light still, so I added an overhead lamp to see smaller details as I cut. I’m sure it will be much more stable and securely attached to the table next time. For me, the only drawback was that the light wasn’t consistently directed at what I was working on.
  3. For the price, this is an ideal saw. It’s as good as you’d expect for the price. This saw is suitable for beginners. The table is made of stamped steel that flexes somewhat. While cutting, there is a lot of vibration, and the extremely bright light becomes a strobe. There was a problem with the blade straying from the cut line owing to the poorly stamped indentations in the blade holder for pinned blades to rest in, allowing the blade to twist in the blade holder saddle indents, which generated vibration. It’s a great buy for the price; the light is very strong, and the small air blower is handy. It did help to justify its purchase after cutting 50 7/8″ maple boards as an introduction to scroll sawing, but there was plenty of sanding.
