While cutting, there is a lot of vibration, and the extremely bright light becomes a strobe. There was a problem with the blade straying from the cut line owing to the poorly stamped indentations in the blade holder for pinned blades to rest in, allowing the blade to twist in the blade holder saddle indents, which generated vibration. It’s a great buy for the price; the light is very strong, and the small air blower is handy. It did help to justify its purchase after cutting 50 7/8″ maple boards as an introduction to scroll sawing, but there was plenty of sanding.
