Customer Reviews:
- A fantastic device. I’ve used the Dewalt 788 before, and this one is far superior in every way. In order to minimize vibration, it’s critical to have a solid foundation. The QuickClamp is also essential if one wants to make fretwork. The parallel arms minimize the saw blade’s forward and backward movement to a maximum, a sturdy foundation eliminates vibration and noise, and changing blades is just as simple as it was with the Dewalt. What I appreciate about this equipment is how simple it is to use. Machines with less complicated designs are always preferable. This is, without a doubt, five-star equipment.
- This saw is a terrific saw, with a smooth-running mechanism and a compact table. If the table were larger, I’d give it 5 stars. I got this saw at an estate sale for a fraction of the cost of a new one, or I wouldn’t have been able to buy such a tool. The stand receives 2.5 stars the stability of this table is excellent. It is sturdy and well-made, but the base is too tiny. It was simple to overbalance. To prevent it from tipping over, I screwed a piece of plywood to the bottom. If the table weren’t so easy to tip over, I’d give it 5 stars instead.
- This is a decent saw, but the blade changing and inside cutting mechanism aren’t as good as I had anticipated for the price. There’s also a lot of shaking at high speed.
