Customer Reviews:

  1. In December 2018, I bought my Ryobi 10-inch table saw at a discount from our local big box HarDware shop. I got this table saw when I first bought a table saw in order to save money and move it around easily. It was a wonderful purchase, as I had anticipated. I’ve only used it for weekend hobbies projects and moving it in and out of my back porch as needed, most often to keep sawdust from accumulating inside the house. It has lived up to expectations. The cuts have held up well and are readily repeatable. I haven’t used the miter guide because it’s too small and flimsy for anything close to accurate work.
  2. The Craftsman Professional Fence is a sturdy, two-handed saw that’s ideal for rough-in and deck work. Without a measuring tape and some effort on your part, the fence does not line up square to the blade. The miter saw gauge is the worst I’ve ever used. It has a side-to-side movement that makes accurate miters impossible. I appreciate the portable fold-up aspect for storage and transporting it. 1/8 inch gaps may develop if you build a cabinet with a mitered door, which will need to be filled later. It’s a DIY lending library that I put together, and it turned out fantastic, so the saw works well enough for the folksy items that are what I specialize in.
